Alissa is an award winning book designer from Sydney, Australia. She has worked in-house at Allen & Unwin and Penguin Random House before starting her own design studio which she currently runs out of Marlborough House in Surry Hills.

In 2015 she won the Australian Book Designer’s Association Award for Young Designer of the Year, and has won further awards since including best designed Independent Book (2016) and best designed Commercial Fiction Cover (2018).

In 2018 she was included on the Forbes 30 under 30 list in the arts category.

As well as designing, Alissa occasionally lectures on Book Design at the University of Technology, Sydney.
