When everything feels uncertain, how do we maintain hope and resilience?
SAMAG explores our creative habits and resources to embrace.
When everything feels uncertain, how do we maintain hope and resilience? How can we use our creative habits and resources to develop positive mental health practices? How can we stop feeling so overwhelmed and get back our energy, focus and productivity even when the future is undefined?
Whether it is a pandemic, embarking on a new artistic venture, or the loss of an income, inspiration, resilience, and hope is something we can always seek and even thrive on during uncertain times. With the help of a panel of psychologists and artists working in the area of mental health, SAMAG will discuss the ways the COVID-19 pandemic has affected artists and the arts industries on a mental health level, guide us through how we can best look after ourselves and others, and how we can be resilient and hopeful during this unusual global time. We’ll specifically address issues like where to find support as someone working in the arts, how to develop supportive mental health practices, and strategies for coping no matter your circumstances.
