2023 has been a year of learning and contemplation for SAMAG and we are looking forward to easing into the holiday period with some art and connection. Katrina Liberiou, Assistant Curator, will show us:

• Photography and the Performative – An exhibition exploring the intersection between photography and performance.
• Nyctinasty – A film by Gunditjmara and Djabwurrung artist Hayley Millar Baker, originally commissioned by the National Gallery of Australia.
• Australia Has a Black History – A selection of photographs by Award-winning photojournalist Barbara McGrady.

Afterward please join us for refreshments and to talk about what’s going on in your world.
