Lina Stein is an arts and cultural researcher, project manager and advocate. She is currently a Research Associate at the Australia Council for the Arts, working on projects including the National Arts Participation Survey and Council’s Arts Tourism research. Prior to Council, Lina worked in market and audience research across the arts, FMCG, health and education sectors and has worked in event planning and operations at TEDxSydney.

Lina holds a Bachelor of Economics and Commercial Law from the University of Sydney where she developed an interest in the mechanics behind decision making, how we think and how we interact with the world. Originally from the South Coast of NSW, she loves seeing the impact of arts and culture in her community and is passionate about the role of creativity in everyday life.
