Annie Tennant
Annie is a National Urban Strategist for the Property business of Lendlease. Annie has a B.Arch from UNSW and a Masters of Urban Design from University of California, Berkeley. Annie leads the Public Art, Culture and place outcomes for projects, embedding First Nations design and sustainability principles. Annie has developed public art leadership for the company that pulls in expertise from across the art world to develop an exciting and rigorous approach to the delivery of public art and culture. Until recently, she was recently the General Manager, Sustainability and Culture, Barangaroo South. Prior to this, Annie was based in NYC as Design Operations Manager for the USA region. Annie’s other roles at Lendlease have been as Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion for LendLease Corporation where Annie applied her strategic thinking, community stakeholder engagement experience and passion for social sustainability. Prior to this she was Senior Urban Design Manager for Lend Lease Communities. Her interest and experience has been primarily with the design and shaping of the public domain including built form design, urban design, streetscape and park design, public art and culture, regeneration projects, with a focus on an interdisciplinary approach to the delivery of projects. Annie is on the Board of Reconciliation NSW and is a member of the Advisory Council for the UNSW Faculty of the Built Environment.
